Yesterday, you participated in a class discussion about the current Human Rights condition at SDA. The purpose of this quick write is to reflect on that experience. Here are some questions to help guide your reflection:
After discussing the quick write in small groups, students were presented with a project that will be due just before winter break. Students began brainstorming their project today and they will receive a formal handout in class tomorrow. Here is a copy of that handout:

- What did you learn about the current condition of human rights at SDA as well as outside of SDA?
- Each of you came to the discussion with important personal beliefs or experiences regarding human rights. Were any of those beliefs and experiences shared and supported by your classmates? Were any not shared or were any viewed as unimportant by your classmates?
- Did you feel like you were able to express your ideas and ask your questions in the discussion? Explain why or why not.
- What could improve this activity?
- Would you like to have more student led class discussions?
