English 10 - First draft of the Catcher essay must be printed and brought to class tomorrow. We will peer review so if you would like to by anonymous type your student ID number instead of your name on your essay.

English 9 - Today we signed up for turnitin.com and organized our dialectical journals and process writing pieces so they will be ready to turn in tomorrow. Students also had time to receive peer feedback on their essays. We finished class by reviewing the directions and expectations for the Creative Project (due Friday May 9).

English 10 - Today we "normed" a Catcher in the Rye essay. The average grade (between periods 3 and 4) turned out to be a B+. Use your knowledge of how you will be graded and that the essay is a B+ essay to improve your own writing.
