English 9 - Write first draft of your sonnet. Make sure you have 14 lines. The rhyme scheme should be abab, cdcd, efef, gg. Each line should be ten syllables.
English 10 - Read chapters 14-17 and find one passage in each chapter that relates to a thematic topic we have discussed in class. This assignment is due Wednesday

English 9 - Today we reviewed Romeo and Juliet by looking at the characters and their relationships. We also reread the Prince's decree at the end of Act 3 scene 1 and had a discussion on capital punishment. Tomorrow we will complete Act 3.
English 10 - Students worked in small groups to review one of the first 13 chapters in The Catcher in the Rye. Students made comic panels to show a snapshot of the chapter and highlight important developments in plot and theme. We ended the class with each group presenting their chapter. We will finish the presentations tomorrow.
